Focus on what's new in pull requests

Frequently asked questions
How do I install Diffinity?
  1. Add Diffinity to Chrome or Firefox.
  2. Open any pull request on github.com.
  3. Copied, moved, and re-indented code is highlighted.
What does Diffinity highlight?
When you view a PR, Diffinity scans the diff and highlights added lines that match code removed elsewhere in the same PR, so as a reviewer you can focus on what's actually new.
Does Diffinity work with GitHub's color blind themes?
Yes. Diffinity's highlight colors are designed to stand out clearly in GitHub's light and dark themes, including the color vision deficiency themes: protanopia & deuteranopia, and tritanopia.
Does Diffinity collect my code?
For maximum privacy, Diffinity does not collect any code. Each PR diff is fetched directly from GitHub in your browser and analyzed locally. Your code is never sent to any third-party server.
Which browsers does Diffinity support?
Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, plus Chromium-based browsers such as Microsoft Edge and Brave.
